The annual business meeting of International Lithosphere Program (ILP) in 2026 will be held in Vienna during the EGU General Assembly. The meeting will include progress and plans for Task Forces (TFs) and Coordinating Committees (CCs). We will also honor this year’s two recipients of the Evgenii Burov Medal, Prof. Boris Kaus (Germany) and Prof. Lu Wang (China), and the recipient of the Flinn-Hart Award, Dr. Kristóf Porkoláb (Hungary). They will give short presentations about their research.

Dr. Alexander Rudloff and Dr. Ludwig Stroink will give reports on behalf of IUGG and IUGS, respectively. In addition, Prof. Taras Gerya (Switzerland) will become the new President of ILP and deliver his inaugural speech.

The meeting will be held in Room 2.96 on Tuesday 5 May 16:30-20:00 CEST. The agenda is enclosed. Anyone interested in ILP is invited to join, and you are welcome to distribute this email to interested people. The meeting will be followed by the traditional Lithosphere dinner for those interested.
